Need to keep item dry

I had some random item, which I was trying hard to keep dry in the midst of treading water / rapids at the bototm of a large 180 foot triple waterfall. The water was a deep aqua-green.

Later on I was suddenly at the Robert's Creek dance hall where Van Halen was playing live and loud!
